Smita, a distinguished international yoga teacher based in Concord/ Huntersville, North Carolina, has accumulated more than 6years of teaching experience. Her exceptional ability to inspire and motivate her students, regardless of their starting point, has enabled them to reach their desired level of physical and mental well-being. Smita has an inherent passion for teaching various yoga techniques, such as meditation and breath work, and firmly believes that yoga transcends beyond just the mat.

Her journey in yoga began in Singapore, where she practiced at the prestigious Vyasa Yoga, which is a branch of SVYASA University Bangalore (India). It was during her two-year stint in Singapore that she became fascinated by yoga and yearned to explore it more deeply. After earning her teaching certificate and becoming a member of the esteemed Yoga Alliance, Smita started teaching at various yoga studios, YMCA, and her own venture, Yoga With Smita, upon returning to the USA.
